How We Got Started
Erica Baruti founded Infinity Nonprofit after experiencing the profound loss of her husband, Alain Baruti, on March 26, 2012. At the time, Alain was a vibrant, young father to their two children, Louis and Josiah, and his sudden passing left an indelible mark on their lives and the lives of their extended family.
In the wake of her grief, Erica recognized a critical gap in support and understanding for the younger widowed community. Driven by her personal journey and the desire to uplift others facing similar challenges, she established Infinity Nonprofit in the summer of 2016 as a resource hub for those in need.
As a certified grief coach and certified flow coach, Erica combines her personal experiences with professional training to offer compassionate guidance and innovative programs that empower widows to navigate their healing journey. Under her leadership, Infinity has expanded its impact through a variety of grief-related initiatives, fostering a supportive community where no one has to walk this path alone.
